Vegan Cornbread
Equipment
- 6" skillet or pan (double ingredients if using a 9" skillet or pan)
Ingredients
- ½ cup cornmeal
- ½ cup all purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt (only if using unsalted butter)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup non-dairy milk
- 4 tbsp melted vegan unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Just Egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Whisk dry ingredients
- Melt vegan butter
- Mix wet ingredients separately
- Mix batter gently until thoroughly combined
- Bake 20 to 25 minutes until top is golden brown
